In January 2024, the British royal family announced that Catherine, Princess of Wales, was having an operation.
Plastic production has now grown to more than 380 million tonnes per year. More plastic has been produced in the last ten years than in the entire 20th century and the industry is still growing, thanks to high demand. But what harm might this do? And what can people do to protect the planet from plastic pollution?
Topical Talk Festivals are packed with inspiring activities, online events and awards for thoughtful conversations and ideas. Students are invited to learn from, and exchange ideas with, a host of international peers and topic experts. From January 22nd to March 28th young people from across the globe came together to compare their perspectives on top news stories for Topical Talk Festival 2024.
